Boating Safety Symposium Scheduled for June 10

The Escambia County Marine Advisory Committee is hosting a special Boating Safety Symposium Monday, June 10 at 5:30 p.m. in conjunction with the Marine Advisory Committee's regular meeting. The meeting and symposium will take place in room 104 of the Escambia County Central Office Complex, 3363 West Park Place. 

Escambia County Marine Resources Division will have speakers from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Escambia County Sheriff Marine Unit, U.S. Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Escambia Search and Rescue. Topics will include boating rules, boating regulatory areas, vessel safety equipment, and Florida's new at-risk and derelict vessel regulations.
