Register now for Escambia County Play, Learn, Grow Summer Camps

Escambia County is offering two Play, Learn, Grow Summer Camps this year for local youth, providing recreation, educational activities and more in a fun, structured environment.

Play, Learn, Grow Summer Camp at Brownsville Community Center 

  • Program dates: 
    • Session 1: Monday, June 3 - Friday, June 28, Mondays-Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
    • Session 2: Monday, July 1 - Friday, Aug. 2, Mondays-Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $65 per session for one child and $25 per session for each additional child. Registration includes breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
  • Ages: 5-12
  • Location: Brownsville Community Center, 3200 W. De Soto St. 
  • Registration: Mondays-Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Brownsville Community Center. Registration is required.

Proof of child's age and Escambia County school enrollment are required. Acceptable verification documents include a report card or progress report from the current school year.

Play, Learn, Grow Summer Camp and Feeding Program at Ebonwood Community Center

  • Program dates: Monday, June 3. through Friday, Aug. 9, Mondays-Fridays, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Cost: FREE. Nutritional lunches are provided each day.
  • Ages: 5-15
  • Location: Ebonwood Community Center, 3511 W. Scott St. 
  • Registration: Now through May 24, Mondays-Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Ebonwood Community Center. Registration is required.
