Construction will consist of new FDOT road construction and drainage at the intersection of Cove Avenue and Nine Mile Road.
Southbound traffic will be detoured from Bowman Avenue onto Fretz Street, back to Cove Avenue. Northbound traffic will be detoured west along Fretz Street to Bowman Avenue, back to Nine Mile Road.
The road closure is expected to remain in effect for five days, and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts in order to reopen the road on or before Saturday, April 6.
If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be issued.
