Olive Road Lane Closure Notice

Olive Road will experience short-term lane closures beginning Monday, Feb. 4 at 9 a.m.

A portion of Olive Road just west of Ninth Avenue will be closed to through traffic. Traffic will be detoured along Olive Road to Hendrix Avenue, around the south intersection of Collingswood Road and Hendrix Avenue, back to Ninth Avenue. Northbound Ninth Avenue traffic traveling westbound to Olive Road will be detoured around to Collingswood Road to Hendrix Avenue, back to Olive Road. Northbound Ninth Avenue traffic traveling eastbound to Olive Road will not be affected by the road closure. 

Intermittent lane closures on Olive Road are necessary to install a new 66-inch storm drain for upgrades in the Olive Road Multi-Lane Reconstruction and Drainage Project Phase 2.

The roadway closure is expected to remain in effect for five days, and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts in order to reopen the road on or before Friday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. 

If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be issued.
