The newest installment of Chairman and District 3 Commissioner Lumon May's show, "May's Message," is now available online and streaming on Escambia County Television.
In this edition of "May's Message," Commissioner May visits the Escambia County Jail and two community centers in District 3. At the jail, he speaks with Escambia County Medical Services Director Dr. Rayme Edler and addiction specialist Dr. Mark Stavros about an exciting new drug rehabilitation program which offers participants a great chance of kicking addiction to opiates with Vivitrol. The program will be offered before release with aftercare at no cost to the county or the participant. Next, May listens as several inmates at the jail share their personal stories. Lastly, the commissioner visits Ebonwood and Brownsville Community Centers, where he speaks with Community Center Coordinator Leroy Williams about the many activities available to residents.
