Road Closures Rescheduled to Accommodate Election Traffic

South Old Corry Field Road

South Old Corry Field Road between Coast Road and Lexington Terrace will reopen to through traffic beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 to accommodate election traffic to local polling stations on Tuesday, Nov. 6. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7 a.m., the roadway between Warrington Middle School and Coast Road will close to through traffic, and the roadway over the bridge will also be closed.

Olive Road

The Olive Road Closure originally scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Nov. 6 will be rescheduled to begin Wednesday, Nov. 7 to accommodate election traffic to local polling stations. 

Beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, Olive Road, west of Ninth Avenue, will be closed to through traffic. Traffic will be detoured along Olive Road to Hendrix Avenue, through the south intersection of Collingswood Road and Hendrix Avenue, onto Ninth Avenue.

The closure is expected to remain in effect for approximately eight hours, and every effort will be made to reopen the road on or before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7. If roadway closures are necessary beyond the listed time period, another notice will be issued.
