South Old Corry Field Road will be closed and through traffic will be detoured around the bridge between Coast Road and Lexington Terrace beginning Friday, Oct. 26.
Beginning Friday, intermittent lane closures will also occur on South Old Corry Field Road between the Warrington Middle School and Coast Road throughout the duration of the project. The intermittent lane closures will occur between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. South Old Corry Field Road will be intermittently reduced to one lane during construction and while construction material and equipment is unloaded.
Construction will consist of upgrading the existing box culvert to a bridge to reduce flooding in the area.
The detour is expected to remain in effect for approximately 300 days, and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts to reopen the road by Aug. 4, 2019. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time periods, another notice will be issued.
