Rescheduled: Six Pence Road Closure

The Six Pence Road closure originally scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 9 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. 

Traffic will be detoured along Olive Road to Excelsior Drive. Six Pence Drive can be accessed at the intersection of Pompano Drive and Six Pence Drive. 

Construction will consist of laying new water main across Six Pence for upgrades in the Olive Road drainage improvement project.

The detour is expected to remain in effect for approximately one day, and every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts to reopen the road by Tuesday Oct. 16 at 3 p.m. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time periods, another notice will be issued.
