The Force returns to Pensacola Library on Saturday, Oct. 6 for Star Wars Reads, a worldwide event featuring activities for Star Wars fans of all ages.
Star Wars Reads will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pensacola Library, located at 239 N. Spring St.
There will be a variety of activities and crafts including a photo op with Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion and the Rebel Legion, a scavenger hunt for Star Wars-themed painted rocks, raffle drawings, a virtual reality game, Jabba slime craft station and a Star Wars-themed green screen photo op.
There are also specific activities for youth such as a lightsaber craft station, obstacle course, story time, and droid craft station.
Attendees are encouraged to come in costume.
Kicking off its seventh year, Star Wars Reads takes place around the world during the month of October. Participants such as libraries, bookstores and schools celebrate reading and Star Wars. To learn more, visit starwarsreads.com.
