Stay Connected with Escambia County

Escambia County offers several options for residents to stay connected with their local government via social media, email and television, providing updates on county meetings, events, projects, road closures, job openings and more. From public service announcements and hurricane preparedness information to county commissioner updates and news, stay informed by connecting with us in the following ways:


Social Media

  • Escambia County Facebook and Twitter: Get information about county jobs, events, news and more from various county departments, including Public Works, Neighborhood & Human Services, Parks & Recreation and Natural Resources.
  • Escambia County Emergency Management Facebook and Twitter: Stay up-to-date during hurricanes, tropical storms and other emergencies, with information about weather-related road closures, evacuation shelters and more. This page also offers disaster preparedness resources, severe weather updates and information about how residents can be safety conscious in their everyday lives. 
  • Escambia County Fire Rescue Facebook: Get fire safety tips, information about upcoming events and check out what your Escambia County Fire Rescue crews are up to in the community.
  • Escambia County Area Transit Facebook: Get updates about ECAT schedule changes, meetings and announcements. 
  • Twitter accounts for District 1, District 2, District 3, District 4 and District 5Featuring district-specific updates about town hall meetings, community events, county projects and more. Not sure what district you live in? Click here to view a map and look up your address.

Email Alerts

  • Residents can also stay informed via email, with updates including meeting notices, county programs, events, road closure notices and project announcements. Visit myescambia.com and click on the green “subscribe” icon to sign up for email alerts from Escambia County. Choose “general alerts” to receive all county news and updates, or select your district to receive information about your specific area. Residents may also choose “emergency updates” to only receive information during hurricanes or other disasters, “BCC meeting alerts” for meeting updates only, or “ECAT alerts” for updates about Escambia County Area Transit.

Escambia County Television and YouTube

  • Escambia County has a television station, online streaming and YouTube channel to give residents 24/7 access to county videos and programs. ECTV and YouTube content includes BCC meetings, commissioner video updates, public service announcements and more. 
  • On TV/Live Stream: ECTV is available on MyEscambia.com/ectv or channel 4/1004 on Cox, channel 98 for Spectrum and Mediacom (Pensacola Beach) subscribers and channel 99 for AT&T U-verse subscribers. BCC Agenda Review, Committee of the Whole, regular Commission, Planning Board, Board of Adjustment and many special meetings can be viewed live on ECTV or on MyEscambia.com/ectv.
  • On Demand: Watch past meetings and programs anytime with ECTV On Demand.
