If you are planning to attend Blue Angels' practices at the National Naval Aviation Museum on July 3, 5, 17, 18 and 24, you are asked to take specific routes to help alleviate traffic issues in the area:
- Blue Angels practice-related traffic coming from the Perdido Key area should take Sorrento Road to Blue Angel Parkway and then travel south on Blue Angel Parkway, leaving Gulf Beach Highway open to local traffic.
- Blue Angels practice-related traffic traveling from the eastern and northern parts of the county should merge on to Blue Angel Parkway at the most northern point possible. Please note that the main gate off Navy Boulevard is not open for visitor traffic.
Additionally, parking on the rights of way in many portions of Old Gulf Beach Highway and Blue Angel Parkway is not permissible for safety and security. Signs are posted.
