Highlighted Events:

Dairy Day Camp

  • Monday, July 9, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 4-H Youth Center, located at 3730 Stefani Road, Cantonment
  • Wednesday, July 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 4-H Outdoor Education Facility, located at 5701 Highway 99, Molino

Children will learn about the importance of dairy and calcium in their diet and where their dairy comes from. Games, activities and tastings included. Cost is $10 and includes both days of camp. 

Youth Go and Grow Healthy

  • Wednesday, July 11, 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 105 Gulf Beach Highway, Pensacola 

Kids ages 5-18 will learn the importance of healthy eating and doing physical activity every day by using the classic children's book, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” as a guide.

Science Hour: RESTORE Update

  • Thursday, July 12, 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Escambia County Central Office Complex, located at 3363 West Park Place, Pensacola

RESTORE Update, Matt Posner, Escambia County – It has been eight years since the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. A $20 billion settlement was reached, but where has the money gone? Join us as we discuss restoration efforts completed, underway, or planned for Escambia County and the Gulf Coast in the wake of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.
