Chipley–The northbound lanes on U.S. 29 will continue the transition onto the newly-paved median between Ensley Street and a point north of Hood Drive from 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19 to 6 a.m. Friday, April 20. This traffic shift is the precursor for the upcoming transfer of traffic from the northbound bridge to the newly-constructed center bridge section. The current southbound configuration will remain unchanged.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to obey the 40 mph speed limit and to use caution when traveling through work zone, especially at night. Drivers should also watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
