Meetings to Discuss Mass Transit Dependent Special District Scheduled

Escambia County will host two informational meetings and a town hall meeting to discuss the establishment of the Escambia County Area Transit Authority as a Dependent Special District of Escambia County. 

Informational meetings:

  • Friday, Feb. 9 from 9-11 a.m., Rosa L. Parks Transit Complex at 1515 W. Fairfield Drive
  • Friday, Feb. 9 from 2-4 p.m., Rosa L. Parks Transit Complex at 1515 W. Fairfield Drive

Town hall meeting:

  • Monday, Feb. 12 at 5:30 p.m., board chambers of the Ernie Lee Magaha Government Building, first floor of 221 Palafox Place. More than one commissioner may attend this event.

The Monday, Feb. 12 town hall can be viewed live on myescambia.com/ectv, channel 98 for Spectrum, Cox Cable and Mediacom (Pensacola Beach) subscribers and channel 99 for AT&T U-verse subscribers. Closed captioning service is available on all four channel providers. Replay of the meeting will be available on ECTV On Demand found online at myescambia.com.
