Chipley – Drivers traveling U.S. 29 near Broad Street in Escambia County will encounter traffic shifts and temporary road closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8 through Thursday, Jan. 11 as crews perform drainage operations.
Detour signs and variable message boards are in place to alert drivers of the temporary road closure and detour routes.
Construction activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to use caution and watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
