Escambia County Corrections Recognizes Staff

The Escambia County Corrections Department recently recognized several staff members for promotions, longevity and other outstanding achievements at a ceremony at the Corrections Building on Palafox Street.

Senior Corrections staff including Director Tammy Jarvis and Commander Selina Barnes presented recipients with their awards at the ceremony, where they were also recognized by County Administrator Jack Brown, Assistant County Administrator Matthew Coughlin and Commissioner Grover Robinson.

Awards for the winter quarter are as follows:

  • Designation as 1st Lieutenants:

    • Lt. Jason Walker
  • Special recognition in honor of Officer Joe Heddy
  • Promotions:

    • Lt. Dustin Parazine
    • Sgt. Jon Sawyer
  • Longevity recognition awards:
