Event Reminder: Stormwater Pollution Science Hour Nov. 16

Published Nov 8, 2017

Don't miss UF/IFAS Escambia County Extension's next "Science Hour," where stormwater pollution will be the topic of discussion. Come learn and discuss what is currently being done and how citizens can help reduce stormwater pollution in the Pensacola Bay System. The free event is Thursday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m. at the Escambia County Central Office Complex, 3363 West Park Place.

Stormwater is a major environmental issue both in terms of flooding and non point source pollution. This Science Hour will address how low-impact design features can be implemented in our community to both prevent stormwater from entering our waterways and treat it as it does.

Science Hour is a new series that began in June where local topics are explored. Each session is free and open to the public.
