Ramp Closures Planned on I-10 at Scenic Highway

Chipley – Drivers will encounter the following ramp and lane closures on Interstate 10 (I-10) at Scenic Highway (U.S. 90/Exit 17) from 7 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the week of Sunday, Nov. 5 as crews place the final layer of asphalt on the ramps. 

• Sunday, Nov. 5: The on-ramp from Scenic Highway to I-10 eastbound will be closed. Access to eastbound I-10 will be detoured on I-10 westbound to Davis Highway (Exit 13) to access I-10 eastbound.

• Monday, Nov. 6: The I-10 eastbound off-ramp to Scenic Highway will be closed. Traffic on I-10 eastbound will be detoured to Avalon Boulevard (Exit 22) to access I-10 westbound to Scenic Highway.
• Tuesday, Nov. 7: The I-10 westbound off-ramp to Scenic Highway will be closed. Traffic on I-10 westbound will be detoured to Davis Highway (Exit 13) to access I-10 eastbound to Scenic Highway.

• Wednesday, Nov. 8: The on-ramp from Scenic Highway to I-10 westbound will be closed. Traffic will be detoured on I-10 eastbound to Avalon Boulevard (Exit 22) to access I-10 westbound.

In addition, drivers will encounter alternating lane closures on I-10 east and westbound near Scenic Highway during this time.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
