E Street in Escambia County is scheduled to begin the week of Monday, Aug. 7. Work on the $255,889 project will take approximately three months to complete. Motorists can expect intermittent lane restrictions; however, there will be no lane closures from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Gulf Beach Highway and from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Cervantes Street.
Drivers are reminded to use caution, especially at night, when traveling through the construction zone, and to pay attention for workers and equipment entering and exiting the work area.
