Update 3: Blount Street HAZMAT Incident

Escambia County Emergency Crews have found the source of the anhydrous ammonia leak and it has been secured. The precautionary shelter in place notice is now lifted. Residents in the area may resume normal household activities and no additional safety measures are needed. Crews are in the process of turning the facility back over to the company and their contractors for repairs.

This will be the last update from Escambia County.
