Old Ensley Park Improvements Completed

A new walking track and basketball court at OId Ensley Park have been completed and are open for public use, adding to other upgrades already completed at the park since 2015. Old Ensley Park, located at 107 W. Detroit Blvd., remained open during construction.

The approximately 1,000-foot asphalt track circles much of the perimeter of the park, with the new basketball court installed within the track area. Improvements also included aesthetic enhancements along with the track and basketball court. 

Other recent additions at Old Ensley Park include an all-inclusive, special needs playground installed in 2015, and outdoor fitness equipment, a sand volleyball court and a new park sign installed in 2016. Old Ensley Park also offers a pavilion, picnic tables, playground, swing set and open green space for passive play opportunities.
