Lane Closure Notice: Longleaf Drive Over Bayou Marcus Bridge

Drivers will encounter temporary lane closures and shifts on Longleaf Drive over the Bayou Marcus Bridge beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20. The project, which consists of rehabilitation of the bridge, is expected to be completed in approximately 21 days.

Temporary lane closures with permanent lane shifts are to be expected throughout the project. Night work will occur approximately seven days during the construction period. During night work, the road will be shifted to single lanes. The site will be lighted and flaggers will direct traffic.

Every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time periods, another notice will be issued.
