Florida Master Naturalist Program Coastal Systems Training

If you are interested in northwest Florida's coastal habitats then join Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties' Extension agents in the Florida Master Naturalist Program. The class is held primarily on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 6 to July 11. The cost is $275, which includes field trips, classroom training and the materials. 

The Coastal Systems Module includes field trips, classroom instruction, and practical interpretive experiences relating to the general ecology, habitats, vegetation types, as well as conservation issues of coastal systems in Florida. Navarre Beach, Gulf Islands National Seashore, the EPA Gulf Ecology Lab on Pensacola Beach, and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab Estuarium, are just a few of the places that the class will take trips to.
