How long is the pass good?
The Summer Wheels Pass is valid from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Can I still get a pass if I am home-schooled or in a vocational school?
Yes. The Summer Wheels Pass is available to all youth ages 18 and younger.
Where are some places I can go with the Summer Wheels Pass?
The Summer Wheels Pass gives youth access to ECAT's fixed route system and commuter routes. Transfers are also included. Here are just a few examples of where ECAT can take you with the Summer Wheels Pass.
- Area beaches
- Pensacola State College & University of West Florida
- Community centers & camps
- Movie theaters
- Shopping malls
- Museums
How do I apply?
Applications for the Summer Wheels Pass may be obtained at ECAT’s Administration Office, at 1515 W. Fairfield Drive. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please bring proof of identification and return completed applications to the ECAT Administration Office so that you may obtain your Summer Wheels Pass.
Examples of proof of identification are:
- State Issued Photo Identification
- Passport
- Social Security Card
I would like to get a Summer Wheels Pass, but both my parents work and can’t come with me to fill out the application. What can I do?
The Summer Wheels Pass application can be picked up in person at the ECAT Administration Office, or you may download the application here. Your parents can sign the application at their convenience, and the application can then be returned to ECAT.
Applications must be returned in person with proof of identification and your parent's signature. Summer Wheels Passes must be picked up in person, they cannot be mailed to you. Applications that are submitted without proof of identification or parent or guardian's signature will not be accepted.
