BCC Schedules Special Meetings; Changes May 4 Meeting Time

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners Public Forum and Regular Meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 4 have been rescheduled to new times. Public Forum will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Regular Meeting at 4:30 p.m. The Public Hearings scheduled and advertised for this meeting will take place at the time they are scheduled, not at an earlier time.  

A Special BCC Meeting has also been scheduled for Tuesday, May 30 at 5:30 p.m. for determination of Escambia County Area Transit/Paratransit contract proposals from private vendors versus internal county management. 

A second Committee of the Whole Workshop/Homeless Summit has also been scheduled for Wednesday, May 31 at 9 a.m. 

Previously announced, the commission will also hold a Committee of the Whole Meeting Tuesday, April 25 beginning at 9 a.m. focusing on Economic Development, the new Brownsville Community Center and the Safe Neighborhood program. 

All meetings will take place in the Board Chambers (1st Floor) located at 221 Palafox Place. The meeting agenda can be found here.
