Gulf Beach Highway will experience construction on the edge of the shoulder on the northern right of way starting Monday, April 10. Construction will consist of upgrading the existing storm drain and inlets on the north side of Gulf Beach Highway. The work zone will be from Ponte Verde Road east to Kennsington Place. The sidewalk within the construction zone will be closed during the project. Work will also include sidewalk and driveway construction.
The construction is expected to last approximately four months. Every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts and have construction completed by July 25. If lane or roadway closures are necessary at any time during construction, another notice will be issued.
Property owners will be provided access to their property at all times, although there may be short periods when a driveway or an entrance may be temporarily blocked as equipment and materials are moved to make repairs. Every effort will be made by the contractor to minimize inconveniences to area residents.
