Community Event to Benefit Crocker Family Set for March 18

Published Mar 8, 2017

Cowgirls 4 Community will host a community event to benefit the family of Kayla Crocker Saturday, March 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Escambia County Equestrian Center, located at 7750 Mobile Highway. Crocker, whose life was taken in the recent tragic events in her home in Beulah on Feb. 2, left behind two small children ages 2 and 6. The proceeds from this event will be provided to the family for the care and future of Crocker's two children.

Families are encouraged to attend, as the event will have activities including bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo, vendors, an auction, prizes and giveaways, entertainment and concessions. A 5D barrel race will also be held in conjunction with the event. Admission is free.

One or more Escambia County commissioners may attend the event. For more information, visit the Cowgirls 4 Community Facebook page or contact event organizers via email. Vendors, donations of auction items, sponsors and volunteers are still needed.
