Solo Caffe Opens in Pensacola Library

After weeks of preparation, Solo Caffe owner Elizabeth Kimpel opened for business in her new location inside Pensacola Library, 239 N. Spring St. In addition to coffee, Solo Caffe offers espresso, tea and a small selection of baked goods. The coffee shop had a soft opening on Oct. 21, and a grand opening event is planned for Friday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Solo Caffe is open Monday through Saturday, with hours as follows: 

  • Sunday: Closed
  • Monday–Thursday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hours may be added occasionally based on events at the library. Solo Caffe will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 and Friday, Nov. 25 for Thanksgiving.
