Road Closure Notice: South Old Corry Field

Intermittent lane closures will occur on South Old Corry Field Road, between Lexington Terrace and Coast Road, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 25 between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The roadway will be reduced to one lane while construction material and equipment are unloaded or utilized to make improvements.The roadway closure is expected to remain in effect for approximately four hours each day until Friday, Nov. 4.

Construction will consist of placing flowable fill under the existing box culvert and riprap rubble, both upstream and downstream, to prevent further scouring under the box culvert at Jones Creek.

Every effort will be made to expedite construction efforts to reopen the roads in a timely manner. If other lane or roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be sent.
