Channing Place between Herrington Drive and Aaron Drive will be closed to through traffic Wednesday, Sept. 28 through Friday, Oct. 21. Constructions crews will be demolishing the current road, adding a curb and repaving the road.
Road closures and traffic detours are planned as follows:
Wednesday, Sept. 28-Friday, Oct. 21
Channing Place between Herrington Drive and Aaron Drive will be closed. Only local traffic will have access. The detour will consist of Aaron Drive to Lepley Road to Herrington Drive; Fiesta Drive will detour to Lepley Drive to Herrington Drive or Aaron Drive; Herrington Drive to Lepley Road to Aaron Drive.
Roadway closures/detours are expected to remain in effect for three weeks. Every effort to expedite construction efforts to reopen the roads in a timely manner will be made. If other roadway closures are necessary beyond the anticipated time period, another notice will be sent.
