UPDATE: Upcoming CSX Road Closures Planned

CSX has announced that beginning Sunday, Oct. 9 at 8 a.m. Airport Boulevard will be closed to both east and westbound traffic at the railroad crossing while crews rehabilitate the track. The closure is expected to take five days, weather permitting.

Additional road closures due to railroad crossing repairs include: 

  • Hancock Lane - Beginning Monday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. Hancock Lane will be closed to east and westbound traffic
  • St. John Street - Beginning Monday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. St. John Street will be closed to vehicular traffic at the CSX railroad crossing. CSX will make accommodations for pedestrians to cross the tracks while the work is taking place.
  • East Cross Street - Beginning Monday, Oct. 11 at 6 a.m. East Cross Street will be closed to east and westbound traffic. 

All three closures above are expected to take three days, weather permitting.
