UF IFAS Extension will offer a series of gardening courses for the fall season. These talks are part of community programs presented by Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church. Courses will be offered on Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m. at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church, located at 1030 N. 57th Ave. Extension faculty and Florida Master Gardeners will present topics including edibles, wildlife and adding colorful plants to the garden.

- Sept. 21 - Color Combinations in the Garden, Karen Lessard
- Sept. 28 - Attracting Butterflies and Pollinators to the Garden, Karen Groves
- Oct. 5 - Don’t Waste Kitchen Waste. Composting 101, Patti Wernicke
- Oct. 12 - Tips for Growing Delicious Container Tomatoes and Peppers, Lyle and Millie Knapp
- Oct. 26 - Creating a Wildlife Friendly Landscape, Alexander Kozman
- Nov. 9 - Plant Design in Small Spaces: Container Gardening, Pat Bush and Ann Luther
