Lot Width Changes to the LDC

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners adopted an ordinance to the Land Development Code on Aug. 4 to amend Chapter 3, Article 2, Section 3-2.3 “Rural residential District (RR),” Section 3-2.4 “Rural Mixed-Use District (RMU),” Section 3-2.5 “Low density Residential District (LDR),” Section 3-2.6 “Low Density Mixed-Use District (LDMU),” Section 3-2.7 “Medium Density Residential District (MDR),” Section 3-2.8 “High Density Residential District (HDR),” Section 3-2.9 “High Density Mixed-Use District (HDMU),” and Section 3-2.10 “Commercial District (COM),” to modify "Site And Building Requirements; "Lot Widths."

These proposed changes are to delete the front building line widths under the "Site Building Requirements" and adjust the street right-of-way widths as necessary to only have one measurement for lot widths.
