Play, Learn, Grow After School Program Begins Aug. 24 at Wedgewood Community Center

Escambia County is offering a free after school program for youth in grades K-12 beginning Wednesday, Aug. 24 at Marie  K. Young/Wedgewood Community Center and Park. The Play, Learn, Grow after school program provides a stimulating environment for students five days a week, with educational and recreational activities throughout the school year.

Activities include:

  • Arts & crafts
  • Homework assistance 
  • Recreational activities 
  • Guest speakers
Program details:

  • When: Mondays-Fridays, 3-5:30 p.m., August 24, 2016 through May 26, 2017
  • Where: Marie K. Young/Wedgewood Community Center and Park, 6405 Wagner Road, Pensacola
  • Cost: FREE
  • Registration: Mondays-Fridays, 3-5:30 p.m. starting Wednesday, Aug. 24
