ECAT Bus Stops Temporarily Moved for Roadway Construction

Escambia County Area Transit Route 45, which services Davis Highway, will experience relocated/removed bus stops and possible delays during the first phase of the FDOT Construction project on Davis Highway, from Fairfield Drive to Langley Avenue, starting on Monday, July 18. The roadway limits for the first phase of the construction project extends from Fairfield Drive north to Brent Lane along Davis Highway. Below is a list of the bus stops that will be temporarily relocated or removed during construction. As always, passenger safety accessing ECAT services is very important in the affected area during the construction period.

The affected bus stop locations- Davis Highway from Fairfield Drive north to Brent Lane:

  • Pensacola Village Apartments Davis Hwy Entrance Bus Stop: will be temporarily moved 75 feet south of the current location. The bus bench will be temporarily removed.
  • Woodland Drive Bus Stop: will be temporarily moved 100 feet north at the Olive Branch Pet Hospital. The bus bench will be temporarily removed.
  • Chadwick Street Bus Stop: will be temporarily moved 50 feet north at Sacred Heart Rehab Center.
  • Ditmar Street Bus Stop: will remain at current location.
  • Royce Street Bus Stop: will be temporarily moved 30 feet south of the current location.
  • Amber Street Bus Stop: will be temporarily moved 50 feet south of the current location. 
  • Davis Highway and Brent Lane Bus Stop: will not be affected.

ECAT apologizes for any inconvenience for passengers traveling in the affected area. ECAT will return full service and bus stop access to Route 45 when authorities confirm the affected area is safe to do so.
