Celebrate Improvements at Lincoln Park

Published Apr 5, 2016

District 3 Commissioner Lumon May invites the community to join in celebrating recent upgrades to Lincoln Park, providing new recreational opportunities for children and families. The Lincoln Park Celebration will be held Monday, April 18 at 11 a.m. at the park, located at 7865 Aaron Drive in Pensacola. Third graders from Lincoln Park Elementary School will be assisting Commissioner May with the park celebration.

Additions include a basketball court, new park sign and new wooden split-rail fencing to replace chain link fencing surrounding Lincoln Park, improving the overall aesthetics. Other enhancements are also in the works for Lincoln Park, with details to be announced at a later date.

With the latest upgrades, amenities at Lincoln Park now include a pavilion with picnic tables, walking track, playground, full-court basketball court and open green space for passive play and recreational activities.
