University of Florida Extension and the Beekeeping in the Panhandle Working Group has once again teamed up to offer the 5th annual Beekeeper’s Workshop & Tradeshow on April 1 and 2 at the Washington County Agriculture Center, 1424 Jackson Avenue in Chipley. The activities will take place from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CST each day and will include lunch.
This year’s event features: extended opportunities for hands-on open-hive experiences, presentations on recommended beekeeping practices, interaction with expert beekeepers, commercial vendors of beekeeping equipment and hive products, as well as door prizes that will include one 10-frame bee hive box each day!
The registration fee for the event is $25 for one day or $40 for both days per person over 12, and $10 per day for kids 12 and under by March 22. After March 22 or payment at the door the day of the event, add an additional $10 per person.
