Customer Appreciation Day

WFPL Book Club
Let’s get ready for the Pensacola Opera’s, “La Traviata.” This month we’ll read the true story of the famous opera, “The Girl Who Loved Camellias: the Life and Legend of Marie Duplessis” by Julie Kavanagh.

We’ll refocus on award winners in January with this fascinating read, “The Walk”, written by Genre award winning author, Richard Paul Evans.

Join this group of IB students from Pensacola High School as they present a series of hysterical skits designed to make you laugh and foster a deeper love of reading.
R.E.A.D. to Dogs

Participants will learn to find, save, copy, move and delete files and folders using the Microsoft Windows application, File Explorer.

Transferring Pictures

All youth are invited to come build a Florida snowman at this craft program.
Microwave Mug Cake
Do you know someone who is super busy? Give them an easy coffee cake recipe, ingredients and a mug. Put them all together and create a tasty microwave mug cake in two minutes. Come early, supplies are limited.
Topsy-Turvy Thursdays: Make-N-Take with the Modeleers

Friends of Southwest Branch Library (FSWBL) Classic Movie Series
By popular vote, the fifth film in this twelve part series is "The Big Sleep", starring Humphrey Bogart & Lauren Bacall. This film is an adaptation of Raymond Chandler’s 1939 detective novel of the same title. This 1946 Warner Bros. picture is not rated and has a runtime of 114 minutes. Popcorn and bottled water will be served courtesy of FSWBL.

Mythosophy®: The Wisdom of Myth: Myths and Legends of China
Mythosophy® presents selected themes from ancient China. Who was Lao Tzu? What is the Tao Te Ching? What is the significance of the Chinese New Year? This fascinating series is presented by Scott Davis, who earned his MA in humanities, religious studies and philosophy and is an adjunct professor at UWF.
