Celebrate the Holidays During the Escambia County Extension Good Cheer Workshop

With the holiday season in full swing, the UF/IFAS Escambia County Extension Office is inviting local first- through fifth-grade students to attend this year's Good Cheer Holiday Workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the Perdido Bay Community Center, located at 13660 Innerarity Point Rd.

This annual event gives youth the opportunity to make holiday goodies, ornaments, crafts and learn more about wildlife. The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to noon at a cost of $5 per participant.

Parents of 7 through 11-year-olds may drop their children off and return to pick them up at noon. If a child is 6 years old, he or she must be accompanied by a guardian for the event.
