Below is a listing of the offices and departments closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal operations resume on Monday, Nov. 30.
- Escambia County Board of County Commissioners
- Escambia County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller
- Escambia County Property Appraiser
- Escambia County Supervisor of Elections
- Escambia County Tax Collector
Exceptions:
- 911 Dispatch, EMS and Fire Services will all be open
- Perdido Landfill, excluding the administrative offices, will reopen on Friday, Nov. 27
West Florida Public Library System
- Libraries will resume regular hours of business on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT)
- Buses will not run on Thursday, Nov. 26. Regular operations will resume on Friday, Nov. 27
- UWF trolleys will not run on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, and will resume a regular schedule on Saturday, Nov. 28
- Administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, and Friday, Nov. 27, and will reopen on Monday, Nov. 30
