In an effort to provide a one-stop shop for county and neighborhood resources, Escambia County will be teaming up with several organizations and agencies to host the first Escambia Cares Community Resource Expo, which aims to give local residents easy access to available and much-needed services.
The expo will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature a variety of information and presentations from county departments and local organizations displaying and demonstrating services related to neighborhood safety, housing programs, employment opportunities and much more. The event will also include music, entertainment, Christmas-themed activities and giveaways, with FREE food and light refreshments to be served throughout the day.

The county is currently seeking local community organizations that wish to serve as a participating partner for the expo. Benefits of participating include no-cost booth space, the opportunity to provide a five minute presentation on provided services and promotional exposure. Organizations interested in participating are asked to complete the registration form and send it to Victoria D'Angelo, Community Redevelopment Agency, at [email protected] by Friday, Nov. 20.
