Crews will repair overhead signs along Interstate 10 from U.S. 90A to east of Scenic Highway and on I-110 from Maxwell Street to the I-10 interchange Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 29. This will be a mobile operation, however, drivers may encounter minor traffic delays from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
There will be roadway testing on the following state roads in Escambia County Tuesday, July 14. These will be mobile operations, however, drivers may encounter minor traffic delays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- State Road (S.R.) 750 (Airport Boulevard) from S.R. 95 (U.S. 29) to County Road (C.R.) 95A (N Palafox Street)
- S.R. 750 (Airport Boulevard) from Davis Highway to S.R. 289 (9th Avenue)
- S.R. 30/U.S. 98 (Chase Street) from S.R. 289 (N 9th Avenue) to S.R. 196 (Bayfront Parkway)
- S.R. 30/S.R. 298/U.S. 98 (Lillian Highway) from the Perdido Bay Bridge to C.R. 297 (Dog Track Road)
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone, especially at night, and to watch for construction equipment and traffic flaggers entering and exiting the roadway.
