Below is a listing of offices and departments closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4, for the Fourth of July holiday. Normal operations resume on Monday, July 6.
- Escambia County Board of County Commissioners
- West Florida Public Library System
- Escambia County Property Appraiser
- Escambia County Tax Collector
- Escambia County Supervisor of Elections
- Escambia County Clerk of the Court & Comptroller
Exceptions:
- 911 Dispatch, EMS and Fire Services will all be open
- Perdido Landfill, Palafox Transfer Station and Oak Grove, excluding the administrative offices, will be open July 3
- All Department of Solid Waste Management facilities are closed on July 4
Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT):
- Administrative offices closed
- ECAT will run regular service on July 3
- ECAT will ONLY operate the following routes on July 4:
- 59 Express (last trip departing NATTC at 8:35 p.m.)
- 64 Beach Jumper
- Beach Trolleys
- UWF Trolleys will not operate
