Temporary Closure of Park and Ride Facility on Scenic Highway

The Park and Ride facility located along U.S. 90 (Scenic Highway) near State Road 8 (I-10) will temporarily close beginning Tuesday, July 7. The closure will remain in effect for approximately 90 days and is necessary to allow road construction of Scenic Highway. Variable message boards have been posted notifying the public of the temporary closure.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone, especially at night, and to watch for construction equipment and traffic flaggers entering and exiting the roadway.
