City of Pensacola RESTORE Workshop Scheduled for June 16

Published Jun 12, 2015

In an effort to help engage and assist local residents with the Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities, and Revived Economies (RESTORE) project submission process, the City of Pensacola will host a special workshop on Tuesday, June 16, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Community Center (913 South I Street).

A web-based project portal is currently being developed for citizens who wish to submit project ideas, with the recently adopted selection criteria being used to evaluate and prioritize projects submitted for RESTORE funding. Attendees at the workshop will learn more about the RESTORE process and how local residents can submit ideas for sustainable, transformational change, in order to make a positive impact on the community.

One or more members of the RESTORE Advisory Committee may be in attendance.
