The following is an update on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) projects scheduled in Escambia County.
- Traffic on State Road (S.R.) 95 (U.S. 29), between Neal Road and S.R. 97, will encounter minor delays on Monday, June 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., as crews perform construction maintenance activities along the roadway.
- State Road 10 (Davis Highway), from west of Davis Highway to north of Campus Drive, will encounter intermittent lane closures from Monday, June 1, to Thursday, June 4. Lane restrictions will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. as crews install a center turn lane.
- Interstate 10 Eastbound traffic over the Escambia Bay Bridge will encounter lane restrictions on Wednesday, June 3, from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, June 4, as crews perform deck repairs.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone, especially at night, and to watch for construction equipment and traffic flaggers entering and exiting the roadway.
