Deadline to Avoid Tax Certificate Issuance Approaching

Published May 22, 2015

Have you paid your property taxes yet?

Escambia County Tax Collector Janet Holley reminds property owners that all 2014 unpaid real estate taxes must be paid to avoid a tax certificate being issued, which is a first lien against the property. Over 11,000 accounts totaling $10 million remain unpaid.

Payments must be received and processed by close of business on Friday, May 29:

  • in person at one of our three branch offices;
  • on our web site at EscambiaTaxCollector.com; or
  • through our call center (850) 438-6500 x3252.

All late payments will be returned for additional fees.

Drive thru service and drop box are available at all locations.

You may check the status of your taxes and pay online at EscambiaTaxCollector.com. If you have any questions, please call the Tax Collector's office at 438-6500, ext. 3252.
