Bridge Maintenance Work on I-10 in Escambia County

Traffic on Interstate 10 over the AL & GC Railroad in Escambia County will encounter intermittent lane closures Tuesday, May 5, through Thursday, May 7, as crews perform bridge maintenance work.

Westbound lane restrictions will be in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, to 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 6. Eastbound traffic will encounter lane restrictions and temporary closure of Exit 10A (U.S. 29 South) ramp Wednesday, May 6, to 5 a.m. Thursday, May 7. Traffic seeking access to State Road 95 will utilize Exit 10B (U.S. 29 North). 

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Motorists are reminded to travel with care through the work zone, especially at night, and to watch for construction equipment and traffic flaggers entering and exiting the roadway.
