4-H Spring Festival & Dedication of New Langley Bell Center on May 2

Escambia County Extension Master Gardeners and UF IFAS Extension celebrate spring this weekend with a festival and the dedication of the new Langley Bell 4-H Center.

The Spring Festival, held on Saturday, May 2 from 8 a.m. until noon, will include wildlife experiences for youth and garden demonstrations, including:

  • Plant propagation techniques
  • Exotic vegetables
  • Pollinator gardening
  • Growing & using herbs

Other demonstrations will feature hurricane safety for the home and nutrition made delicious. The Master Gardeners will also offer garden tours and host a plant sale.

At 9 a.m., join the Dean and Director of UF/IFAS Extension, Escambia County Commissioners and 4-H Youth as they dedicate the new Langley Bell 4-H Center, followed by tours of the new facility.
