4-H Camp Timpoochee is now accepting applications for Escambia County youth to attend its summer camp, which will be held June 8-12 at Camp Timpoochee (4750 Timpoochee Lane, Niceville, FL).

The camp offers outdoor adventures and engaged learning in a classical camp setting with trained camp staff and advisory counselors, all on the beautiful Choctawatchee Bay. Camp activities include campfires, talent nights, kayaking, hiking and exploration, skit performances and much more.

Youth between the ages of 8-13 are welcome to apply as campers, and youth between the ages of 14-17 can apply to be counselors or counselors in training. The camp fee ($240) includes transportation, four days and five nights in climate-controlled cabins and all meals for the week. The fee also includes a camp t-shirt, daily snacks and priceless amounts of fun. A non-refundable $50 deposit is required with your application, and campers that receive free or reduced lunches can complete an eligibility form to receive a reduced $210 camp fee. The deadline for counselors to apply is Monday, May 4, and the deadline to register for campers is Friday, May 15.
